The Library Bar is a small, intimate space that says, “It would be nice to have lots of sex tonight!”
You enter a small room off the lobby of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel to find this dimly lit and modern treasure of leather and dark wood.
There are about 5 seats at the bar and 3 tables. Yep. That’s it.
No cocktail list. Like Milk & Honey in New York, tell them your fave spirits/bodies and they will hand-craft a surprise.
The bar is adorned with fresh produce on display, (similar to The Varnish downtown), because these bartenders make quality cocktails and the ingredients are the finest available.
Yes, the bartenders are friendly, cool, competent. The crowd will depend on your luck. It could go either way. Get there at 8 or 9pm, if you can. There is a slight possibility of high d-bag quotient…but, hey, it’s LA. Comes with the territory, friends. Seriously. Come, anyways.
